Want To Swim With Polar Bears?

Wednesday, May 14th, 2008

If you really want to swim with Polar Bears, then check out Polar Bear Habitat & Heritage Village. They are located in Cochrane, Ontario, Canada. And, yes, it is truly a place where you can swim with polar bears. Of course, there’s a bullet-proof, shatter-proof glass between you and the bears, but, hey, we don’t want to scare the polar bears, do we? You can see more pictures at Polar Bear News or go to directly to the habitat’s webpage by clicking Polar Bear Habitat & Heritage Village Bear hugs, Frankie

I really think I want to market this product. I think
grass flavored Tums” would be very popular, like, with musicians and stuff.

Polar Bear Stops A Tundra Buggy

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

How many polar bears does it take to stop a Tundra Buggy? Just 1 if it’s Iorek Byrnison, the great white bear in The Golden Compass movie. David 1st cartoon was fun and insightful (if you missed it, scroll down to the previous blog entry). This cartoon made me laugh out loud. In case you don’t know: in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada — the polar bear capital of the world — they use Tundra Buggies to go out and see the bears while staying safe and warm. Great movie! Bear hugs, Frankie

P.S. If you’d like to buy the DVD or the book, click Golden Compass to see a complete selection of Golden Compass items.

Did you know that in the story line, the hero ice bear is a drunk when the girl first meets him? His armor, which is to the ice bear his soul, has been stolen and he’s “taken to drink.” She recovers it and thus the alliance. A drunk mercenary Polar Bear. Gotta love it!
What I have seen of the graphics and everything, it is a remarkable movie.
