Obama’s space program

obamas space plan

Okay…I know the Shuttles are really getting old. And they probably need
to be retired and put on display.

So, the other day folks were asking President Obama what his ideas are
for the future of our space program.

I’m not sure if he really believes the answer he gave, or…
was he just really spacing out? Maybe having a flashback from
his college days in Hawaii…I dunno.

POPULATION CONTROL

cartoon population control

I was reading some of the quotes Jaques Yves Cousteau is famous for,
and when I found this one….well, I felt depressed. It’s not that I was
surprised, quite the opposite. It confirmed what seems all too obvious
to me. There are simple too many humans. And the quality of what we
have isn’t all that great either. Probably why sharks usually spit us out.

In Alaska, since they’ve always figured they (Fish & wildlife and others)
can run nature better than Nature herself, (funny? no it’s not….but sad!)
they began killing wolves by shooting them from airplanes to lower the
population so there would be more moose for the “human” hunters.

They’ve even been known to drag baby wolves out of their dens to be killed.
Now that is “management,” eh?

So, it only seems fair that this same approach should be applied to humans.
Or at least somebody should reconsider his / her place on this planet.

The Power of Love

"The power of love"

To me this quote says it all.
It defines what is wrong with the world today,
as well as offering the solution.

And guess what? The solution is free!
…and a lot more enjoyable than the alternatives.

The quote, by the way, is from the late Jimmie Hendrix.
“Wha..?” you say, “no way!”
Yep.

EARTH NIGHT…BECAUSE JUST ONE DAY IS NOT ENOUGH.

Monday, April 26th, 2010

Frankie asked me if I would be interested in “taking over” the blog here. So, since she’s got a lot on her plate, and it’s my artwork (or something vaguely resembling artwork) I said, “sure…OK.”

I’ll be eventually doing a new entry each and every day, except those days that just don’t deserve an entry, like…well it’ll come to me. You know how excuses are so hard to find when you need one.

We’ll also be setting up a shop where you may purchase prints. Classy, framed (or at least frameable) prints that will make your friends simply GREEN with envy. And we all know that greeen is a good thing…right?

I’ll also be writing something about the day’s image, which will either enhance it’s credibility, or at least knda look like there is something legitimate here after all, hopefully making you feel a bit less embarrassed to have stopped by.

For instance: you might be wondering what I had in mind when I created the “Earth Nite” image.
Maybe you think there’s some deep environmental message. Truth is, I simply wanted to make it because I think it looks really cool and peaceful. Yep, that’s it!

So, until tomorrow, Bearhugs!earthnite image
